Juddha, Besus and Pt Saul all taught celibacy was only for the few
there is no point trying the market celibacy like some product in a supermarket. it simply does not work
instead, the celibate find their own way to celibacy
'god' actually likes everyone without partiality and wants the best for everyone, which includes sex for those that need it
'god' teaches virtue & wisdom, first & foremost
couples with virtue will be vehicles of true friendship & happiness for each other
Buddha who was fully enlightened taught:
Husband & wife, both of them having conviction, being responsive, being restrained, living by the Dhamma, addressing each other with loving words: they benefit in manifold ways. To them comes bliss. Their enemies are dejected when both are in tune in virtue. Having followed the Dhamma here in this world, both in tune in precepts & practices, they delight in the world of the devas [angels], enjoying the pleasures they desire.
