Yes, Sulfide Gold was not well known back then. Fosterville broke new ground, new possibilities in the world of geology.
Perserverence, who were the original miners & owners of Fosterville, had no idea they were sitting on a Gold Mine (literally) when they finished up at Fosterville & walked away. They'd be absolutely spewing now thinking of what they missed out on - billions of oz of gold.
Some people will feel like that in the future with NAGs - shareholders who sold for 9-10c or lower & walked away. FOMO will be reduced to MO (Missed Out) and then the spewing will start.
