Everyone is watching gold and really the picture is much bigger. All commodities are running hot so of course inflation is there. If it weren't for cheap Asian labour it would be hyperinflation. There is but one sector left to run and that is food. You'll know we are headed for trouble sooner rather than later when the grains complexes take off - corn, wheat, soy! You could add cotton to that as well.
