I think we have a consolidation coming this will bring in big money , as far as to relist in the US I can’t wait , but we also know the requirements to do so , One block at a time . This also brings me to the importance of FBR and CRH working together to bring in those larger 50 kg blocks , which I think will be immensely important in :
A) faster builds.
B) no need for timber framing for cavity as blocks will be so wide that the cavity is already formed therefore only need is to direct fix 16mm or 28mm metal furring channels to internal perimeter blocks and dry line plasterboard to for added assurance of water penetration, which I highly doubt would be needed .
C) All internal walls then to become brick with direct stick plasterboard to it .
D) This type of construction by builders in America would be much faster , stronger and cheaper if they do away with timber framing all together! And believe me they will not hesitate at all if there is a quid to save , “Time is money”hence why I predict the Timber industry will be greatly effected by FBR’s product including every other industry associated with stick builds ! There will be many new trolls on these threads that will present themselves as FBR achieve this in years to come as their jobs and industry will be greatly impacted Imo .ONE OF THE MOST DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN AN EXISTING MARKET about to change construction as we have known it for hundreds of years is about to enter the market and it’s only a crazy 3.8c !!! There is not one company that I hold where I have ever !!! ever !! Seen so many trolls working so hard and straight through the festive season !! Why ? To help us steer away from this company and save us from doing our dough ? Lol just reading ploughs posts !!
