Something doesn't seem to add up. The announcement states:
"After ASMC elected to focus its efforts away from uranium, he (George Glasier) resigned as CEO and was assigned ASMC’s rights to ablation."
But if you go to ASMC's website (http://www.americanmineralscorp.com/company-info/overview), it states:
ASMC Overview
Engaged in fast-tracked URANIUM and vanadium mining projects on the Colorado Plateau, while maintaining long-term production with a diverse mineral resource asset base throughout the Western United States.
Under Mining Strategy, it states:
"Become a major uranium producer in the U.S."
There is no mention on the website or Google News of ASMC electing "to focus its efforts away from uranium". In fact, on 13 June 2012, ASMC acquired Continental Resources Acquisition Sub, Inc., Pershing's wholly-owned subsidiary holding all of its interests in uranium exploration properties. If ASMC was indeed moving away from uranium, why did the above transaction go through so recently?
There is also no mention of ASMC assigning their rights to Ablation Technology to George Glasiers on their website or anywhere on Google news. In fact, ASMC's JV with Ablation Tech is still shown on their website.
I'm hoping that ASMC's website simply hasn't been updated. Have tried to contact the company but no response so far.
Hopefully someone else can shed some light on this matter.
