I think I can answer my question.
It all depends on where you calculate the change from.
Turns out that on April 22 KZR was at a high of 47, and has fallen substantially from that (60%).
But in May it was back at a longer term price of 35, which gives a drop of only 46% to last close at 19. This is similar to the drop in GBR, AUT, ASO, etc.
So KZR is no more on the nose than many other gold stocks.
All it needs is some positive news.
