I remember in the financial crisis when the dow plunged 10-15% in a few days that one of the days we opened over 200 points down but finished green by the end of the day...
The dow futures were still off a few hundred points at that time but the dow finished green as well... could be a similar thing happening tonight..
It was a classic V shaped recovery
