big shareholder in Homestake Mining, later ABX American Barrick.. After war they bought a hideaway ranch in Uruguay where they keep in a pivate foreign trade zone gold coins and liggots imported from german banks.
It pays to have something where not everyone is looking at. If Zimbabwe has nice safari parks they might have lots of wealthy refugees to wait for better time further north. If they are getting bored they can bet on Harare Stock Exchange or buy local gold coins.
