Why has the share dropped., page-107

I'm not as financially savvy as the rest on this thread but I did notice that ms&ad were increasing their holdings in December to ~10%. Now I remember them confirming that they were going to buy up to ~15%. Is it possible for them or related firms to short cgf whilst the market is struggling to pick up their additional 5% holdings a touch cheaper ?

If MS&AD were short-selling something they already own from a related entity, I think they would still have to report any percentage-point change in their net long position (which would then be announced by the ASX as a "change in substantial holding"). Very unlikely, I would say.
