I am very bearish on both commercial and residential property. Yet i bought WBC today as these (oligarchy) banks make money each and every time money is exchanged. If they can moderate bad debts, their massive profits will continue. Getting the timing right is the hard bit. Property may remain stable for another 18-24months during which banks will rake in billions... albeit at everyone's expense.
