Hello CC,
I think you will find that her vote is required until the lame duck senate has run its course.
Then she resigns, and California replaces her .
I suppose she could make a gentleman's agreement with the republicans that her vote was paired, but the flaw in that course of action is obvious.
Would you be be confident trusting the word of a republican?
