Can hurt when the warrant doesnt behave as expected, especially for newbies to option/warrant trading. It appears that the drop has been factored in the price already, which typically happens prior to stock going ex-div or else everyone would do it!
Hope you are able to make a few $$$ on the trade, but hey at least you are now wiser than before.... learning is what trading is all about.
