    I got caught with the ex-div. factor couple of years ago. Now I always have the ex-div. dates for my tracking stocks in my PC and on the wall over my trading desk. Once bitten.........
    I suggest you do the same....most brokers will provide it, or the "Financial Review" has a full list of dates every Monday.
