He's copping it hard, but I don't think he is being misinterpreted. It's a pretty clear message he's delivering.
Like most posters I appreciate your charts and others and let's face it the charts have been very accurate in reading the trend which is strongly down.
I think if it hasn't happened already then the euphoric phase might be starting for the DOW, USD and other equities. The gold sell off for me is highly correlated with ETF inflows and outflows. Right now money is flowing out of gold.
Then you have India which is gold's biggest customer and the problems they have with currency and holding gold.
The amazing thing for me is the speed with which you have had the fundamentals for a gold boom which have been flipped in such a short time. To me that means that the fundamentals could easily flip back to gold, but the think the DOW / USD is going to have to play out it's role in the meantime.
