2019 had no enviros approvals, no native title, no BOAs. they got too far ahead of themselves. it at least proved it was viable and Ammenable to conventional processing and was a good building block to further derisk while the v market developed.
to be frank the market hasn't been ready for another primary producer Anyways so can't blame management for not having a crystal ball. pretty sure Ian started planning this company in 2015 when the massive VRB battery went into Japan thinking by the time we list and get a DFS that VRBs would be getting adopted and be mainstream. it's happened way slower then we have all imagined but starting to happen now
sometimes timing is everything. had AJM built 12-18 months later where would they be now?....
just my view.
