I posted those results to rebut the assertion that GMA took everything that could be taken in the upper levels.
"Look how that turned out."
Yet you fail to add to the story that their plant was deficient in its crushing, they spent a lot of money on superfluous things expecting an additional cash injection and started mining in a low ore area without sufficient testing.
"maybe there is no more viable gold in the top levels of morning star"
I am quite happy to accept that is the case if sufficient testing is done and it is proven. I think its unreasonable to accept it as gospel on the hypothesis that GMA got at all, particularly as they are currently testing a zone that GMA did not explore. Do you agree?
I am sorry but the conclusion that GMA got it all is not evidence. I like to base conclusions on evidence.
That being said, the reason Mantle are looking at the upper levels as MS first is because that would provide the lowest capex entry to production, with only minor works required to achieve mining and plant operation. If the evidence turns out that the upper levels are not economic, Mantle will still hold nearly all the land in the district, some 650 square km, including RoD with underground sampling confirming extensions for known mineralised shoots with results including 1.4m @ 87.8 g/t Au, as well as all that the lower levels of MS, which everyone I see saying does contain economic zones.
So its hard not to be optimistic...
