maybe they have stumbled across a Green copper low cost mine which can use sea water… Close to the port which means they can under cut the majority of the rest of the mines in Chile!
Maybe they are smart
Maybe they have found the one copper mine which once you take out all the overheads of being in high altitude so far away from a port and having water restrictions… (Not to mention what potentially can happen in the future with water rights) will be one of the cheapest in Chile to produce copper
Maybe once we are fully derisked they will use a part of that 1 billion to buy is out
