Macquarie Telecom announces plan to build Intellicentre 4 bunker

Australian managed hosting company, Macquarie Telecom has announced its plans to build Intellicentre 4 (IC4) bunker in Canberra.
The $14 million investment comes in response to a tenure Macquarie Telecom won earlier the year to provide the hosting and security for the Australian Government’s Lead Agency Gateway program.
“Being based in Canberra, the Intellicentre 4 bunker marks Macquarie Telecom’s dedicated investment in secure hosting for government, one which reaffirms our commitment to be the trusted provider connecting the public sector in Australia to the world wide web,” government and security executive Macquarie Telecom, Glen Noble said.
The bunker is set to open for business in mid 2013.
