Sypaladin, the politics forum is intended for robust debate but as per the posting rules, posters are not supposed to denigrate, bully or stalk others. Nor are they allowed to post lies, defame etc. Yet even on this thread some posters are testing those rules.
Although I agree with much of what you posted I feel compelled to qualify your points about gays and lesbians. Living just opposite me is a young lesbian couple. They are lovely, hard-working people and each has a wonderful daughter they conceived - via IVF is my guess.
With the sort of violence directed at women in heterosexual relationships it comes as no surprise to me that lesbian families are becoming more commonplace.
Indeed, I suspect the day is not far off when medical science will enable non-cloning reproduction without a human egg and without human sperm.
