I have just listened to today's podcast - Rob talks with Neuromorphic Computing Industry leader - Michael Azoff.
Well worth a listen and l'm sure further discussion will occur on the Podcast thread.
During the podcast, Rob asks Michael where he sees AI having a significant impact.
Michael's initial, quick reply, " a very leading and broad question'
Michael then responds with, AI will assist greatly in tasks that are beyond the ability of humans due to the scale and complexity of the work.
Rob then 'chips in' (pardon the pun) - Yes, the scope and upside is tremendous.
Back to rocketrogs reference to power line inspections the world over. Just a very clear example, IMO, of what Rob and Michael were talking about regarding how AI can assist humans in tasks at scale.
