Why I like Patties:
They have a 50% share of the pie (so to speak) in Australia. Interestingly, they have opportunities to expand into China; however, it is devilishly hard to import pies into Australia, so they have to compete with the large supermarkets serving up their grissly rubbish and the boutique pies that are nice, but expensive. The frozen berry issue was a non-event except that they copped bad publicity and took a small hit even though tests proved later that the issues reported were not an issue. It was an over eager bureaucracy that dropped them into it.
They have a long history of profit.
They are boring compared to some others; however, they are solid if nothing else (all IMO of course).
