Have to agree, Allen Kohler is a real gem. As someone else notted his graphs are always thought provoking. He doesn't just comment on the daily noise, but attempts to put some perspective on some aspect of the market.
I also like Marcus Padley. He tends to also tell it like it is. Last weeks article was a good example in the Age and SMH. Marcus pointed out the top 7 stocks accounted for 75% of the increase in the ASX 200 which went up 24% over the last year. The top 20 stocks accounted for 91% of the increase. The ASX 200 is only up 2,2% if the top 20 stocks are left out.
That's the sort of truth I like to hear about the market. It's what Allen talks about, Marcus talks about and Kenneth Davidson in The Age talks about. Not too many others.
