They tell me to pay my grade 1 storeworker $16.61 /hr and if he/ she can use a keyboard and print he/she goes to grade 2 and gets $17.21 per hour.
When they want an increase I say sorry I have not been informed by Fairwork of any increases.
Now that is really making employees and employers think outside the box and drive productivity (LOL), I placed a casual employee on full time after a year - she never took a sick day in past year, within 5 weeks she has taken 4, so why would you pay more than what you supposed to and why put staff on full time - I suppose it is the labour way.
All labour voters are counting on is the redistribution of wealth and when all the prices go up, lets see what happens with the few extra cents they get.
