    You are the one who is way out of touch. When I was working in retail a year ago, minimum wage was roughly around $18 dollars or so for someone over 21, and I'm sure there are many businesses who pay less. So do you expect the country to stop functioning because it's not worth it to get out of bed for minimum wage? I'd hate to live in your world where your groceries costs 50% more because everyone thinks they deserve management wages for filling shelves or running the checkout.

    I'd also make a bet you'd be the same person whinging about groceries prices being too high, and accusing big businesses of being greedy, while every one is on $25 an hour.
