Farole has no chance of getting AOC's seismic data unless he unconditionally endorses the current agreement. AOC's data is needed if they are to drill Dharoor. Puntland currently lacks both the resources and political will to re take the disputed territory.
Conoco Phillips has never had an interest in the Darin basin and would not expose itself to a long legal challenge from AOC who would have the financial backing of the Lundin family. The risk would negate the possible benefit.
Previous concession holders were with a completely different Gov, prior to a civil war. There has been no attempt to maintain past concession interests by any previous holders. By the time the new JV agreements could be nutted out and PSA's approved by parliament, Farole would no longer be in power and the cycle would start all over again.
No drarthur, I strongly disagree with your argument and stand by my belief that the current COW and JV agreement will not only stand but also be successful.
