Some people saying since covid testing is reducing so ACL will go down now.

    Reasons why this wont happen:
    1. Out of the first half profit of $115m$, they didnt waste it away and pay excessive dividends but invested back in the company by acquiring Medlab.
    - they increased their collection centres from 995 to 1283 by paying 70m$ + they got 2 extra labs.
    - that is increase of close to 25% for 61% of the first half's NPAT!!
    - if we take this acquisition money out of the half, we are still left with: 115-70: atleast 45m$.

    2. They are big in WA. WA has been pretty much in lockdown till now. Only now the cases are starting to increase. they are going to have another big 6-7 months coz of more covid cases in WA.

    3. Australia is going to open up the borders -which will mean more covid cases. Which will 100% mean more revenue for pathology services.

    4. Medlab acquisition was completed on 20/12/21. They will give full benefit only from current half.

    5. Many operations/testing got delayed due to covid, there will be demand for other types of tests.
