The ageing population analysis is an interesting one.
Usually it refers to the baby boomer cohort of which I am among the younger members.
I don't have the data but last I read, I think we represented just over 20% of the population in Australia
but over 30% of people with chronic illness.
So there's some obvious implications. But it's not an approaching wave, the wave is already here.
Median age boomers are mid to late seventies.
So although I'm not trying to make a definitive point, you've got to be careful about making assumptions and reading to much into these matters
I'm struggling to find a 2 out of 7, let alone 3
