I have not played this one for a while. I have just taken a small position again and will probably get more as it drops or goes sideways. The current share price is still a lot higher than the point prior to the noise of speculation about a possible takeover bid. I have read analysis on the market and it makes sense that Australian miners should take part in the downstream business rather than just dig and sell. It also makes sense to have factories here doing the value-added processing rather than shipping all the ores to overseas factories. Australia needs to be more independent from the Asian markets and create more jobs for Australians as well.
It looks like we have to wait. More positive news will come along in the next 12 months so I am willing to average down until this baby enters a long leg up.
