@Canard Great analysis.
Can you reference where/when the Coopers exclusivity agreement was renewed, as I cannot find it.
From the 23 Feb Announcement.... "either party effectively has the right to extend that (the) Agreement for a further 5 years (i.e. to September 2027)."
This sounds like NTD can renew the contract, but the word "effectively' makes that claim sound a little weaker.
I also note that the Mickey Thomson tyre range (which falls under the Cooper family of brands), has a separate arrangement, which is reviewed annually, with the 2021 review having been completed. Its not obvious how much of NTD's revenue and profit the Mickey Thompson tyre range makes up, but one would expect that its not non-negligible.
Given Goodyear's Aussie distribution capabilities, I don't see why they wouldn't look to get out of this agreement as quickly as they could.
