Sorry guys, I must have persuaded myself that the agreement was renewed! I agree that the announcement isn’t clear enough to be sure about the exclusivity agreement.

What I found is that Goodyear expect to finish the transaction with Cooper in the second half of 2021:

I would be surprised (considering the timing) that Goodyear’s management gets the time to change Copper’s distribution channels in the second half of 2021. Changing it would involve a lot of marketing and internal political debates considering that NTD has been Coper’s distributor in Australia for more than 30+ years.

Moreover, does the actual Goodyear’s Australian distribution channels (warehouses, shops,...) and teams have the ability to absorb Coper’s volume? I honestly don’t know but it would be surprising.
