Just picking up on one of your comments in your original thread where you stated that NTD "tended to be tied to the automotive industry which has struggled over the last 18mos". I have just tried to buy a new car and found that I would be waiting between 6-12 mos or more for most makes of vehicle. I have finished up buying a near new secondhand car at very near new price after losing my car in a vehicle accident. This indicates to me that there is much less new rubber coming into Australia via the new vehicle industry and consequently that deficiency is made up in more use of existing tyres on used vehicles. Surely this must translate to more tyres sold by tyre retailers. I bought in today based on my experience in spending about two weeks trying to find a car to meet my needs - so I think you are absolutely right the current state of the car industry will give NTD some tailwinds.
