Just a little note to say that CF33 will not give anyone chicken pox. Vaccinia and the chicken pox virus are from the same family but come from different genera. Vaccinia is harmless (relatively) but gives us immunity to chicken pox as a bonus. Put another way, vaccinia does not have the same nasty components as chicken pox but has some similarities that allow it to be a vaccine.
Another fun fact is that CF33 is not designed to avoid infection of healthy cells, rather it's designed not to replicate in healthy cells because a key enzyme for replication has been deleted. Normal healthy cells lack the enzyme so CF33 does nothing. However, in cancer cells, the enzyme is present so CF33 can replicate to its heart's content. That's why we need higher doses of virus so there's a much greater chance of bumping into a cancer cell before the immune system clears it. Also why IT has a greater chance of success in winning that numbers game.
