Very interesting. I suspected running such a large Phase I for Vaxinia was to set CF33 up for fast-tracked designation for FDA. I thought I was a bit cheeky asking Leslie "Do you believe CF33 could get fast-tracked by FDA after Phase I? in the webinar just now.
I was surprised at her quick response with a big knowing smile, "Yes, absolutely".
Anyone thinking we will have to wait years for a deal to be done for CF33, take notice.
Fast-track FDA can happen during Phase I trials which means no need for Phase II and III to get registered and start sales. For those playing at home, this increases sales 'life' under patent for CF33 which translates to potentially much higher PV of peak sales. i.e. much sale price for CF33.
