DOW had another modest rise overnight - up 141 points. NASDAQ Biotech index did fall however - and closed down 25 points.
US inflation figures due Friday (US time) so the market in the US is treading water until these are released as it gives an indication of future interest rate rises.
All European indices were up. Bank woes that were so central last week seem to have been forgotten and the hunger for risk is growing again.
