All positive on the global exchanges overnight.
All European markets were up - modestly it should be said.
In the US, the DOW closed up 383 points. The NASDAQ Biotech Index rose 89 points. The NASDAQ had quite a spectacular rise after some dismal results over the last few weeks. NASDAQ closed up 236 points.
LATEST inflation data event that was released was the March Production Price index which declined by .5% - do, another indicator that inflation is coming down.
Interestingly, both gold and Bitcoin also rose overnight. Normally, shares and the safe haven commodities work as opposites.
