Huge rebound in global markets overnight. Hopefully, this might flow through to the beleaguered ASX on Monday.
All European markets closed higher - roughly 1 to 1.5% increases.
In the US, the DOW closed up 546 points. The NASDAQ Biotech Index was up 69 points. The NASDAQ closed up a very healthy 269 points.
Better than expected employment figures (US unemployment dropped to 3.4%), improvement in the banking sector outlook and Apple had better than expected revenue all added to the positive sentiment.
