All European markets up overnight - about half a percent. FTSE was the odd one out and only up a small amount.
In the US, the DOW was down 232 points, The NASDAQ Biotech Index was down 36 points. The NASDAQ Composite roes 53 points.
The US FED held interest rates at their current level - the stock market liked that news
The US FED Stated that it expected to raise interest rates 2 more times in 2023 and had a "terminal rate" of 5.6% - the stock market did not like that news.
Be very interesting if the ASX takes its lead from the US today. ASX has been very muted of late and may consider the US market mov overnight as a temporary wrinkle.
