    Manipulation– “the snorter”
Imugene the company, l was so excited to purchase shares in always seems to be red, It’s down in the pre-market, it’s down during the day, and it’s down after-hours.This isn’t necessarily because l was a bad stock picker, it might mean the opposite. My due diligence discovered a diamond in the rough, a company with fantastic earnings potential, stellar management, tremendous growth opportunities, positive ASX announcements, new developments, a takeover target with industry recognition and plans for the future yet the stock continues to drop ? Banks and hedge funds also have teams of brilliant analysts working for them, they have super computers, algorithms, they have programmers with a genius-level intellect, economists & statisticians. They run calculations and projections these guys are exceptionally good at finding great companies.
Stock manipulation is not illegal, their time frame is different to us retail investors, they have a lot more patience, if you buy a stock on Monday and it drops 15% by Friday then you might begin to panic, months go by and the stock stays flat, it’s just red every day until you give up and sell. The big end of town thinks in terms of years, but most retail investors think in terms of weeks, or even days, regular people set their stop loss 5% below their purchase price, they get notifications when their stock drops, emails & text messages, lots of annoying reminders that they’re dumb and they should sell. Longterm investors think differently, they might go weeks or months without checking in on their stocks, they’re confident in their decisions, and they don’t need the money any time soon, most are cashed-up, they can afford to wait out the stock manipulation.
While the ASX snorters have mastered the ability to manipulate a stock in the short term (less than a few years) they are unable to manipulate a stock in the long term, eventually, good companies go up we just have to wait it out.

There are three time periods a stock can be in the red, pre-market, regular trading hours, and after-hours, the more often a stock is red, the more demoralizing it is to us investors. Pre-market and after-hours are easy for snorters to manipulate, pre-market and after-hours trading is very thin, there’s almost zero volume compared to regular hours. The spread between the bid and the ask is much larger, this means if a stock closes at $1, then the bid might be .98c, and the ask could be $1, one should assume they have unlimited resources when it comes to pre-market and after-hours trading, they can buy or sell as many shares as they want to accomplish their goals. But it turns out they hardly need any money at all, a lot of trading activity during after hours is 1 share trades. if your stock closed at $1, then the snorters only needs to sell 1 share at market to drop the after-hours price to .98c,a drop of 2%.Ordinary investors have the numbers, but the snorters have the money, in the war of stock manipulation, cash is King.
It’s psychological manipulation, If enough retail investors buy and hold a stock because it’s a great company with great growth prospects, then the vampire squid {the snorters} will move on. I guess the snorters biggest weapon is fear, fear in the face of an uncertain future, so if you sell, they win, if you hold, you win. Don’t let them steal your shares.

This post is just my view and does not constitute financial advice.

    Happy hunting share-holders
