I seriously don't know how you find the time (even on a Sunday) to compile a quality post like this one so, well done.
I certainly think you have 'picked the mood' of the IMU holders, who are now scratching their collective heads regarding
the sad state of the the share price. The science continues to be stunning, with each and every trial 'delivering he goods',
in its own time, so to speak. To me, the HER-Vaxx results have been slower than I expected, although very, very positive.
I know very well that the BioTech world must jump through many hurdles (and rightly so) to gain deals, and ultimately
approvals. That said, IMU is moving at what appears to be 'light speed' within the CF33 suite.
Like Bavarian and Steini, I am not confident it will pop in July ... but it could. If Big Pharma have only been 'holding back',
waiting for last week's HER-Vaxx data ie.
proof of concept, then we could have a deal in July.
The following points, just released, say it all, and with 'p-values' that now leave no doubt ...
• HER-Vaxx treatment produced robust anti-HER-2-IgG* and IgG1 antibodyresponses (p<0.001).
• HER-Vaxx-based vaccination of patients with HER-2 overexpressinggastric/gastro-esophageal junction cancer (GC)
induced anti-HER-2-IgG and IgG1subclass antibody responses (p<0.001).
• HER-Vaxx induced antibodies correlated with tumour reduction (p=0.001) Yes ... it "
induced antibodies correlated with tumour reduction". p value = 0.001. Its there in black and white.
People seem to be forgetting that this is
NEW data.
Data that Big Pharma may have been waiting on. I don't know of course,
but its actually very possible. It is certainly data that will be waved in Merck's face if we see a very positive read-out in the
next-Herizon combo with Keytruda.
The more I look at it (along with several others), the more I believe HER-Vaxx will be the first deal. I will be delighted to see
it in July, but also very happy to take it in August too. If indeed that transpires, we will be playing a whole new game, in
a company that will have been substantially 'de-risked'. If that is what happens, it is IMU that will be able to 'play hardball'
with Big Pharma, when they come to talk deals around CHECK-vacc, Vaxinia and of course onCARlytics. Wouldn't
that be nice?
