Well done FID. I was going to give you a lik but will respect your request in your last sentence

All of these first hand experiences with cancer only serve to increase the desire to see IMU succeed and to do that sooner than later.

Good luck to you as well @MrLearner. There is a lot of fight in you.

I didn't think I would ever disclose this here and perhaps I shouldn't but you have prompted this response.
Long story short.
2010 I was diagnosed with stage3 colon cancer.
Paid $26,000 to go private for the tumor to be removed, time was fast running out, most don't come back from stage4.
I first refused chemotherapy after seeing firsthand the side effects from a close family member.
My oncology team talked me into treatment and after six months of a harrowing regime I was given a 5-year survival prognosis.

Roll forward with another procedure a year ago to remove most of my sigmoid colon, so many colonoscopies I've lost count & two weeks ago after a flexible sigmoidoscopy, its gone!, no sample taken for biopsy, no further surveillance required.
Miracles do happen my friend.
It just isn't our time yet.
My biggest regret, is that had I known I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself
