I agree with you and have only two other observations to make regarding IMU as I don't want to invest more time reading HC when I can consume other content that reduces confusion as an investor since 2018.
All recent appointments are in the US, at very senior levels and covering east and west coast. They have strong scientific, commercialisation backgrounds with an affinity for the Genentech business model. Why would you do that - perhaps because that is where you will be based in the not too distant future?
The SPP price model offers an opportunity to acquire more shares and options at a very attractive price if you are not intent on selling in the near term and believe there is a significant growth opportunity in IMU. If there were to be a consolidation it makes sense to me to get more now.
Having met LC, PH, YF and SP as well as reflecting on the bench strength of the SAC and BoD, I also can't accept the general commentary here that I'm being conned. The effort to bring therapeutic products to market is massive as you suggest and the time is consumed in trials for up to four phases that guide the process. IMU have been as clear as one can reasonably expect them to be at this stage of their development in terms of strategic options, directions and platforms. What the scientific method will deliver is clarity on the commercial potential of those elements, not the other way around which seems to be the wish of some posters.
