Hi Ben,

I think we all agree Azer Cel was a great strategic buy and an important piece of the jig saw puzzle.
I think most of us think the CR was badly timed - why not wait until the CF33 results later this year.
I think most of us think that the terms of the CR (the free oppie) destroyed shareholder value.
As a director your only purpose is to protect shareholder value.

That said:

Most of us have invested in companies with CR before.
Most of us see a decline in the sp for sometimes months.
One particular stock made a CR, knowing that the sp would decline I sold out.
The sp did exactly what I though, lay in the doldrums for a few months.
What I didn't back on though from there it rallied with what would have been a 20 bagger.

I see another stock (3dp) made the big announcement first (as what we wanted for IMU) and then did the cap raise.
The sp fell anyway and is now below the cap raise price and now even below the sp when the 'big' announcement was made.
So who knows what's the right call in this market.
