I have to agree with you, but I’m also not surprised they have put their hand out and structured it as a performance based remuneration. I was naively hoping the BOD consider themselves well remunerated for what they have delivered the past year and potentially would have sat on that for the following year.
The sp weighting of 10% for the performance package is way too low. It should have a higher weighting factor than that. In other words if the remuneration gets through the sp can effectively still be in the toilet whilst they achieve their performance goals and get their substantial increases whilst most retail holders are deeply in the red.
I’m undecided what my vote will be at this stage, but it’s fair to say I’m more than a little displeased at what they are asking for and how it is structured.
