When confronted by the option of a treatment or a possible cure it is a difficult choice and one that is no doubt shaped by the veracity of those explaining the alternatives. A sad and difficult situation and a payment is little solace but perhaps helpful if the patient didn’t have cover under say their superannuation fund death and disability cover which is generally standard but cover that many don’t realise they have or could acquire.
