Fairly subdued trading on global markets overnight.
In Europe, the FTSE was flat - up .3 (0%), the DAX fell 53 points (.35%) and the CAC fell 33 points (.48%).
UK car registrations up 20% for 2023 (EV's up 34%).
127 UK companies have disclosed that the breached Russian sanctions - hefty fines are expected.
In the US, thje DOW rose a modest 34 points (.1%), the NBI fell 20 points (.52%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 40 points (.3%) and the Russell small cap index fell 23 points (1.32%).
US treasury 10yr bond yields rose slightly to 4.66%.
Oil prices ticked up - Brent crude at US$86.06.
74% of US companies releasing earnings reports have beaten last quarter earnings.
The RBA is expected to hike interest rates by 25 basis points today - that will probably put a damper on the ASX today.
