I still maintain that traders are not responsible for the fall in the SP - and for obvious reasons. Killing off the golden goose makes zero sense.
Anyway, can you explain why you think there is no link between the rises in shorting positions resulting in a corresponding drop in the SP? The fall in the SP will be for a few reasons but it did start - and continues to follow - the rise in shorting numbers.
