    True … but whether that offer is then accepted by the shareholders is to be seen.
    If an offer comes in and the strategy of the board is to show how it would monetise the IP and thus set out its plans for the way ahead (in order to offer shareholders an alternative and thus a defensive strategy) we must ask whether most holders would take a once off payment or see the future in extraordinary dividend payments and some capital returns via share buybacks over time and holding shares in a company that may well hold the future for cancer treatment.
    I would go for a small immediate return by selling just a few shares arising from the competition for shares (not accepting a TO offer) to retire debt and then enjoy dividends every year onwards as well as the buy backs and saying “Yep I was and still am an original holder in that there company that cured cancer”.
