Options give leverage, you don't have to convert. Long dated as they are the potential for greater profits are there.
If it goes pear shape down the track, you could be stuck with options that no one wants.
You buy the extra options and IMU shoots to $1 before year end, you can sell some of those extra options to convert to heads or you can sell the Options without converting and be in front $ wise as opposed to buying Heads only.
