There is no way I can ‘like’ this post. I am so sorry to hear this. From memory, about 70% of patients experience CRS on Autologous CAR-T. It’s an expected AE, but the SAE’s are the concerning ones. Sounds like ICANS from your post.
To have your partner or a loved one in ICU/hospital for so long, incredibly heartbreaking & difficult.
We hear the humanistic/other side of the story here more frequently now on IMU boards. I’m so sorry. Hopefully Allogenic CAR-T can offer hope to families such as yours in the near future.
