My understanding is that the CEO of Precision Biosciences and Ceo of CHM (also owned by PH), were very good friends and the CEO of CHM recommended that a deal be investigated with Imugene as it would be the best fit for azer-cel and most likely best chance to get approval with FDA.Imugene paid a $3 million finders fee to CHM, this was standard industry practice.There is no doubt that LC had a lot of influence in getting the Allogeneic therapy on board and this led to some very clever hires from that point on when the potential of this and Oncarlytics became apparent.We all know that pre-clinical data from this combination has got a lot of these very successful people very excited and now that human trials have started we can expect excitement to build.
